It's here! Pizza created with appreciation for both health and great taste. My first batch of pizzas arrived on the shelves of natural food stores June 2, 2006, in Calgary, Alberta. Within days, people who loved it emailed and called the pizzas heaven sent. This was fantastic and the grateful response continues.
I developed a spectrum of food allergies in my early twenties. Growing up, my family ate pizza when life was busy. My friend Moira's family (you may have read about her in a book by Robert Munsch, Moira's Birthday, where she orders 200 birthday pizzas) had pizza every Friday night. Pizza night created many happy memories. With my severe food allergies came a sudden end to these great evenings. I originally thought I would simply live without. What was I thinking? Pizza is the world's most fun and social food. Everyone deserves a pizza happiness. Something had to be done to put this enjoyment back in my life.
